Filing Season 2026 dates for normal and provisional taxpayers

The 2026 year of assessment runs from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026. Auto-assessment notices ran from 1 July to 12 July 2026.

If you only earn a salary, your ITR12 filing window is 13 July to 23 October 2026. Provisional taxpayers file the ITR12 from 13 July 2026 to 22 January 2027, and still pay IRP6 during the year.
